Miss You

The life we lived
The things we did
All revolved
Around one another.

Time passed
We grew up
Things changed
And so did we.

I miss that life
I miss those people
But they're gone
They no longer exist.

I miss that hope
That anything is possible
That somehow
Things could be different.

I wish that
Life could reverse
So many things
That I'd do differently.

Take a missed opportunity
Turn it into history
Re-write the future
Make us both in the present.
